Step right up -- the circus is in town! Join us for a week-long exploration of aerial and flow arts, focused on fitness and fun!
In each camp, children ages 8-13 will take a tour of aerial fabrics, static trapeze, and lyra. They’ll also receive instruction in flow arts such as silk fans, hoop, and more.
Students will create a short piece to perform at the parent showcase at the end of the week. AM and PM sessions are available. Snacks will be provided.

EARLY BIRD PRICING
Before April 15: $160 ($75 deposit required to hold your spot)
April 16 and onward: $185 ($75 deposit required to hold your spot)
SIBLING DISCOUNT
For each child registered after the first, take $15 off the price of camp for each additional sibling. Sibling discount(s) are applied to the second payment, after initial deposits are received. A $75 deposit is still required for each child to hold their spot.
Early bird example: Child 1 cost is $160, Child 2+ cost is $145 / each
Regular price example: Child 1 cost is $185, Child 2+ cost is $170 / each
CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancel by 1 month before start date of camp: full refund
Cancel 2-4 weeks before start date of camp: $75 deposit refund
Cancel less than two weeks before start date of camp: no refund
DROP OFF & PICK UP POLICY
Parent / guardian must bring ID for pick up each day and be on the approved pickup list (submitted after initial registration). Parents must pick up / drop off their child at the studio door and sign the attendance log each day. Late pick up fees are $15 per 5 minutes late. This year for AM camps, drop off is 8:50-9am and pickup is 11:50am-noon. Drop off for PM camps is 12:50-1pm and pickup is 3:50-4pm.
LOCATION
Defy Gravity is located inside the Lincoln Square Mall in Urbana. We are at the north end of the mall nearest the Broadway entrance (near the post office and IMC). Walk towards the food court and you’ll find us. Parents / guardians or other approved adult must sign their child in and out each day.

Both sessions run from January 31 - May 16
There will be no classes on March 14 (spring break) and April 25 (studio showcase) to accommodate school breaks and studio schedules
Saturday May 16 will be our end of session Parent Showcase
WHO CAN ATTEND: SOAR classes are open to students age 8-15 and to those who attended our summer circus camps! Each class will offer progressions and regressions as needed to ensure all students can learn content at their own pace.

ATTIRE POLICY
SOAR students should wear long leggings and shirts that cover the underarms to every class. Students should also bring a water bottle and any as-needed medications such as a rescue inhaler, etc.
MAKE UP CLASS POLICY
Review classes are built into the session schedule to accommodate for missed classes. Instructors will make up missed content from prior classes during review, or if needed throughout regular class time.

REFUND POLICY
Payment plans are available that require about half the cost of the session to book. This first payment is non-refundable. Date of second payment may be moved by contacting the studio.
If paying for the full session at checkout, half may be refunded in case of cancellation provided the student has attended less than half the session. To cancel your booking, please contact the studio.
